Taman Cipta Karya is an educational and social foundation established in Yogyakarta on February 28, 2021. It is registered under the registration number 5021022734103130 with the Legal Entity Establishment Approval Number AHU-0006844.AH.01.04. Year 2021.
The Taman Cipta Karya Nusantara Foundation serves as the legal umbrella for the establishment of The Lilliput World. The purpose of its establishment is to have a positive impact on the lives of disadvantaged people by offering education that opens doors to decent job opportunities, personal development, and social welfare.
A person's development should not be differentiated or limited by their socio-economic background. With encouragement, talent, determination, and a bit of support, they can achieve wonders. Empowering education can help them overcome challenges, remove some barriers to progress, and unlock potential prosperity and growth.
The main problem hindering many young people is the lack of access to opportunities to learn skills, gain knowledge, and build capabilities that will enable them to lead productive, meaningful, creative, and independent lives. TCKN strives to meet this need by offering low-cost learning opportunities, focusing on practical and vocational skills, and adhering to the principle of Learn for a Better Life.
The development of the concept and ideas of the Taman Cipta Karya Nusantara Foundation values every individual and dedicates its existence as a part of the educational development in Indonesia for all age levels, including the education of future generations where the initial character of humans is formed, namely through early childhood education.
Our teaching style here at TCKN is student-centered, authentic, participative, practical, skill-focused, experiential, and relaxed. It takes place in a value-based learning environment that aligns with local culture and traditions and corresponds to Yogyakarta's role as the cultural center of Indonesia. The impact can be seen in students who apply what they learn and move forward in their lives with dignity, choice, and confidence, showing that what they need to be capable of is already inherent within them.
Our inspirational figures include individuals such as Kartini, Ki Hadjar Dewantara, Diponegoro, and Maria Montessori.
